Learn more about your favorite action movie star; James Bond. What would James Bonds Real EDC flashlight look like? These are impressive gadgets used by this super-spy.

The James bond character is a fictional one, it has been around for quite some time, dating back to as far back as the 1960s. Although the novelist “Ian Fleming” who came up with the fiction had conceived the idea in the preceding decade. The character portrays a highly-skilled secret service agent of the British government with the code name 007 which he answers to in the spy agency; MI6. He is not only skilled but equipped with state of the art gadgets of his time.

More importantly, James Bond is known to carry with him “every-day carry” items and oftentimes it is what allows him to show off his skillfulness in the field as a secret agent.

Everyday carry, known as EDC for short is somewhat a convenient tool kit that can fit into your pockets, suitcase, back-packs or what have you. They are materials that you find handy and you can almost always not go out without them.  The contents may have some variations; ultimately they should be able to fit into pockets e.g.  A secret service agent would choose differently from someone who works construction. His choice would be tools of more sophistication that can fit into pockets or blend in with the dressing.

Generally, your everyday carry items could carry include any of the following;

  • A pen
  • A notepad
  • A lighter
  • A flashlight
  • A cell phone
  • A pocket knife

Each one mentioned above has its use and they could be of great help when talking about survival gears.  However, you could edit the list to your taste, add to it and remove from it depending on your environment or what the law of the land allows you to carry and also according to which one you think you need.

For a fictional character like James Bond, it would be fairly accurate to include some other things like

  • A pistol: This pistol would, of course, come in handy in any situation. Perhaps, he would opt for one small enough to be tucked behind the belt or easily carried with gun straps under the blazers.
  • A silencer: This is important in stealth missions as the shot of a gun would be very loud without it.
  • A highly sophisticated wrist-watch: As we’ve seen in most of his movies, there’s usually an advantage to the high-tech wristwatch and perhaps it comes with a laser beam that can cut through things or is highly sophisticated to hack the enemy’s defenses.
  • Micro universal Remote Television controller: its sole purpose is to turn off the enemy’s CCTVIf James bond were to carry an EDC, of course, there are several ones he could choose, bear it in mind that there have been several James bond since 1962. Each James bond would probably choose something unique for each era.If you’re not a Bond or a secret service agent of any type then you don’t need what’s up there.
